Henry Onyekuru has become somewhat of an enigma at Everton, since joining the club from Belgian side KAS Eupen in the summer of 2017. Now, he may have just hinted at his future on Instagram.
The 21-year-old joined Everton for £7million, according to the BBC. But he failed to obtain a work permit to play for the Goodison Park club, and therefore had to go on loan.
He joined Anderlecht on loan during the 2017-18 campaign, scoring 10 goals in 28 league and cup fixtures. He has been in strong form this time around, during a loan spell with Turkish side Galatasaray.
The versatile attacker – who is naturally a striker but can also play out wide and in the 10 role – has scored 11 goals and laid on two more in 33 games, with the majority of those coming from the left flank.
He scored a brace on Monday night in a 5-0 win over Antalyaspor and posted on Instagram after the match, claiming playing for Gala is like “feeling at home”.
