Derby left back Marcus Olsson is a doubt for the Rams when they face Fulham at Pride Park on Saturday in the first leg of their playoff clash.
According to the Derby Telegraph, the Swede left Pride Park on crutches after the Rams demolition of Barnsley on the final day of the regular campaign.
Olsson started the match for the home side, but he was forced off with injury after 38 minutes with what looked like a knee problem.
The 29 year old has featured 53 times for Derby, since his move from Blackburn Rovers in 2016, scoring just one goal.
He has only played 15 times for County this campaign, and could miss the remainder of their season.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Derby boss Gary Rowett said “I don’t know what he has done, at this point.
“He had an injury early in the game, I think it was his knee, so whether or not he felt that again I’m not quite sure,
“He has left on crutches, but we are hoping it is not as serious as that.”
Fulham will be considered the favourites over the two games, but their 22 game unbeaten run came to an end on Sunday when they lost to Birmingham City.
Defeat saw the Cottagers lose any chance of going up automatically.
Fulham travel to Derbyshire on Friday, before hosting the Rams at Craven Cottage the following monday.
After a dreadful run of form in 2018, Derby can count themselves lucky to even be in the playoff places.
They now have a chance to gain promotion to the Premier League for the first time since 2008.
