Aston Villa are just one of the Sky Bet Championship clubs who are interested in signing Leicester City defender Robert Huth, according to odds given out by Sky Bet.
The German defender has struggled to break into the Foxes’ first team this season following the signing of Harry Maguire last summer, and is expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
The 33-year-old central defender has not featured at all in the Premier League this season, but made 33 appearances in both 2015/16 and 2016/17.
He was part of the Leicester City team that pulled off arguably the greatest ever sporting achievement, as they defied 5000/1 odds to lift the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.
For Huth, this was his greatest achievement ever, but he had won the Premier League before. In fact, this was his third Premier League winners medal, having won the league with former club Chelsea in 2004/05 and 2005/06.
Overall, Huth is an extremely experienced top flight defender, and he could prove invaluable to any team in the second tier, despite his age.
He has featured in the top flight 322 times, scoring 21 goals and assisting seven. As a central defender, he has been a part of 82 clean sheets.
Rumours linking him with a move to recently promoted Cardiff City have appeared in recent weeks, and they have been given odds of 4/1 to sign him. He is also 4/1 to re-join former club Stoke City, who have just been relegated to the Sky Bet Championship.
Middlesbrough, Derby County and Aston Villa are just three clubs who have been linked with a move for his services.
