Reports from Turkish Superhaber TV suggest that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to spend around €20 million on Fenerbache midfielder Eljif Elmas.
The Turkish TV outlet reported that Spurs are very close to signing the 19 year-old Macedonia international, with an offer said to have already been made by the north London club.
Tottenham are looking to strengthen their midfield ahead of next season, with Elmas being one of the options for the club. Fenerbache are also forced to sell some of their players in order to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations (FFP).
The youngster has been linked with other Premier League clubs such as Leicester City and Cardiff City, with Serie A side Fiorentina also emerging as a potential summer destination for the Fenerbache wonder kid.
Elmas featured in 34 games for Fenerbache this season, finding the net once.
He made his international debut for Macedonia in 2017. Since then, he’s played 10 games for his national team scoring twice.
