Derby County youngster Luke Thomas is reportedly set to leave the Rams this summer.
According to Gloucestershire Live, the 20-year-old is due to have medical with an unnamed Championship club early next week ahead of a move.
The report adds that Derby will earn in excess of £1m from the deal, should it go through, with his old club Cheltenham Town receiving a percentage of the payment.
Thomas spent the whole of the 2018/19 season on loan with League One side Coventry City, scoring five goals in 45 appearances for the Sky Blues.
This is not the first time that Thomas has been linked with a move away from Pride Park, with Premier League outfit West Ham reportedly interested in his services last summer.
Thomas joined Derby from Cheltenham in 2016, and has so far made two substitute appearances for the Rams first team.
He also netted two goals against Notts County in Frank Lampard’s first pre-season match in charge last summer.
In August last year, Thomas signed a new contract with the Rams which runs until the summer of 2022.
