Steven Gerrard has provided updates on several injured Rangers stars, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times.
The Gers boss will be a happy man heading into the international break, with his team top of the league, into the League Cup semi-final and mixing it in the Europa League group stages.
What’s more, he can expect several big-name players to return over the next month, to bolster all areas of the squad.
Gerrard delivers Rangers injury update
“Do I expect Ryan Jack to miss Scotland duty? Yes, Ryan will be at least two weeks,” said Gerrard, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times. “Joe (Aribo) was very close to being 100% so that is a positive for us.
“I would have Joe if needed but I wanted to give him his scar as much time as possible to heal, he will go away on international duty and probably be involved with Nigeria.
“Jordan Jones is probably three or four weeks away, so just a few weeks away after the break too. So a lot of positives for us on the injury front as well.”
The manager also confirmed that Filip Helander missed out on the squad for the 5-0 win over Hamilton with an ankle injury which required an injection.
