Manger Daniel Stendel reveals Hearts are ‘very close’ to new January signings

Hearts boss Daniel Stendel revealed that the club is close to finalizing new signings despite finding it difficult to get players during the January transfer window.

The manager is desperate to bring a goal scorer to Tynecastle Park to help with the task of avoiding relegation, and he said new arrivals are now “very close”.

The 3-week break ends on Saturday when Airdrieonians visit Gorgie in the Scottish Cup 4th round. Stendel believes his squad is getting progressively better with training but emphasized that some signings are needed.
