Le10 Sport has reported that Everton right-back Djibril Sidibe held talks with Italian club AC Milan less than a month ago.
There is no indication that the french man on loan intends to leave Goodison Park this month.
Discussions did took place, however, with the Italian club and it would appear they seem keen to sign the French International.
The 27-y-o was in a poor run of form under then-manager Marco Silva who signed him in the summer transfer window. Since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, however, his form has improved massively.
The Toffees do hold an option to sign Sidibe for £12m but it would seem that talks have taken place with the Serie A giants.
It’s reported the talks took place when the fullback wasn’t in the best of form and at this moment in time the player looks well settled at Everton.
Sidibe has played 17 matches for the Everton, playing mainly as a right-back but also feature as a right-winger on occasions.
