Norwich outcast admits that he would like to leave Carrow Road for good

Norwich full-back Philip Heise has admitted that he could see himself staying at Nurnberg longer than expected.

Heise is currently on loan with Nurnberg in the second tier of German football after being given the go-ahead to leave Carrow Road in January.

The left-back has not feature in a single league appearance for The Canaries since joining the club in January 2019, featuring in just one cup match against Crawley since arriving at Carrow Road.

Speaking to Bild, Heise said:

The club is a club where I could imagine staying. But that is not just my decision, but also that of Nuremberg.

The Canaries completed the signing of 19-year-old left-back Sam McCallum in January, who could possibly be seen as a replacement for Heise.
