Report: £25k-p/w ace wants summer exit from NUFC, manager not interested

Inter Milan midfielder Valentino Lazaro’s primary objective is to return at the San Siro this summer, rather than extending his loan with Newcastle United,  FC Inter 1908 reported.

Lazaro joined Newcastle in January having struggled to get game time in Italy under Antonio Conte, with the former Chelsea boss only awarding the 23-y-o four starts after his summer transfer.

The Toons boss Steve Bruce offered Lazaro a chance to keep his career on track by joining for the second half of the League campaign and has since looked fondly on the Austrian to open two of the four available top-flight matches to him.

FC Inter 1908 understand Lazaro has settled in well to his new teammates on Tyneside and with the first-team at St. James’ Park, but is not currently looking to see his time with the club continue into another season.
