Noel Whelan, former Leeds Striker and now a pundit for BBC Radio Leeds, discussed the future of Leeds Midfielder Mateusz Bogusz in an interview with Football Insider.
Whelan believes that the 18-year-old midfielder will be allowed to go out on loan next season. He said:
I’m sure they’ve got big plans for most of their young players because they’ve excelled, especially last season and this season,
They’ve done very well, everyone’s given themselves a fighting chance to try and break into the first team but you can’t push the fact, you can’t push your way in there.
Now there might be a loan that comes up this year and after this, the club might go: ‘Well yeah, actually, after this you can go’.
Mateusz Bogusz has previously expressed his frustration for lack of first-team game time at Leeds. He has made only one appearance for Leeds this season, in an EFL Cup match against Stoke City.
