Everton set to make about 28 times profit by selling their forward

Everton are reportedly ready to sell their academy product Fraser Hornby in the coming transfer window.

Fraser Hornby is a versatile forward with the height of 6ft 4in. He joined Everton in 2014 from Northampton Town for about £65,000 deal. But now, Everton are going to cut loose of the player and will sell him for about £1.8million, according to French outlet  L’Equipe. The two clubs are already in advanced talks and the transfer will go through after the transfer window opens, as per the report.

After impressing in the Everton youth sides, Hornby joined the Belgian club KV Kortrijk on loan. The 20-year-old forward scored 4 goals in 14 appearances for the club until the season was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Despite the potential that he showed and his relatively young age, Hornby will likely begin a new adventure in search of first-team football.
