UFC 250 card is headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer. Amanda Nunes makes her first defence of the UFC women’s featherweight title against Felicia Spencer on Saturday.
Amanda Nunes with a 10-fight win streak, two world titles and a string of big-name victims have cemented her status as the greatest female fighter the sport of mixed martial arts has ever seen. She destroyed Ronda Rousey in under a minute, got the better of Valentina Shevchenko on two occasions, and also took out Holly Holm in four minutes and 10 seconds. Nunes currently has a career record of 19 wins and 4 losses.
Now, former Invicta Featherweight champion Felicia Spencer, is up to the task of dethroning the ‘Lioness’. She has a professional fight record of 8 wins, 1 loss and 0 draws. Spencer has very amazing fighting skills, but she has nowhere near faced the level of competition Nunes has faced.
In the pre-fight press interaction, Nunes said:
“We will win this fight, no doubt in my mind. I will follow my path making history. No doubt in my mind, this is gonna happen, be ready for it.
“5 rounds I expect this fight is gonna be a battle. Felicia is a tough opponent, expect to be very sharp, very smart, and then wait to the best moment to finish this fight.”
